What is Panacur?

Panacur is a broad-spectrum deworming medication for dogs and cats. It works against many common intestinal worms and is often used in the treatment of Giardia infections. The tablets can be administered directly or mixed into the food.

Why use Panacur?

Giardia and worm infestations are common and can cause diarrhea, weight loss, and intestinal problems. By administering Panacur for 3 consecutive days, you break the parasite cycle and provide the animal with quick relief.

Which option do you choose?

You choose solely based on the weight of your animal.

Short example:

• 3 kg dog → 250 mg tablet → 1 tablet per day, 3 days

• 8 kg dog → 500 mg tablet → 1 tablet per day, 3 days

• 20 kg dog → 500 mg tablet → 2 tablets per day, 3 days

Important to know

Panacur should be administered for 3 consecutive days; do not skip a day. In the case of Giardia, always clean the bed, floor, food bowls, and surrounding area to prevent re-infection.
