The Trixie Reptiland Desert Sand Terrarium Red 5 kg is a substrate for terrariums, completely natural and fine-grained, without dyes or additives. This original African substrate consists of homogeneous, fine-grained desert sand, a perfect substrate for reptiles from desert areas. This sand provides a very natural habitat and stimulates natural animal behavior, such as digging and laying eggs. The sand has good heat conductivity and is therefore also suitable for use in combination with heating mats, heating cables and other UTH (Under Tank Heating). The substrate is easy to clean by scooping out droppings.
